The Semillons 2010 – The Wine Industry Uncovered!

by on May 25, 2010

in Booze News

The Semillons are back WineChap has a consistent track record of requiring little encouragement to disrobe inappropriately (see Facebook – or rather don’t), so when offered the chance to get his kit off with no chance of recriminations (or charges being filed) and an opportunity to raise money for an exceptionally worthwhile cause, his euphoria knew no bounds.  Tragically WineChap then learned he was double booked for our Don Giovanni/Italian Tasting event at Holland Park, but eight other brave souls, stalwarts of the wine industry, will be baring all for a female audience in order to raise funds for research institute Everyman, Europe’s only dedicated male cancer research centre. “The Semillons” first took to the stage five years ago when Christelle Guibert from Decanter magazine organised the first Chippendale Charity show for the wine industry, they raised an incredible £10,000 to combat prostate cancer.  Following popular demand The Semillons are back, featuring former international rugby player and internationally awarded wine producer Gérard Bertrand. Taking place on the 8th July guests will be able to enjoy a Champagne cocktail reception sponsored by Champagne Nicolas Feuillatte with nibbles.  After the show, auction and raffles will take place before the music hit the venue until late.  This year the event is open to both men and women, although the Chippendale show is for ladies eyes only! Tickets for this titillating but worthwhile evening are selling fast so book your place now to uncover who from the trade can proudly boast a magnum and who is happy to sport their piccolo. Ladies: £31.50 including £1.50 booking fee per ticket charged by Google Checkout. Gentlemen: £26.50 including £1.50 booking fee per ticket charged by Google Checkout All information and tickets will be available through the website www.semillons.co.uk
