On Asimov’s Tail: “Argentina Opens the Tap for Malbec”

Apologies, but a few of our oxen died while fording the river and we lost Asimov there for a second. Thankfully we managed to direct our covered wagon back to his trail and find ourselves (albeit a day late) in Mendoza.
This week Asimov and the panel (Kristie Petrullo of Craft and Brett Feore of Apiary, and of course, Flo Fab) taste through
20 different bottlings of Argentine Malbec under $50. Their findings: while the wines aren’t terribly nuanced they offer great quality and value under $50. Here are the panels’ top ten picks (in order of rank) and where you can purchase them here in NYC and abroad.
